Watching TV is my happy place. There, I said it. Actually, I’m pretty proud of this fact. Making good TV is an art and I’ve learned so much from being TV-obsessed since as far as I can remember. TV taught me how to tell a story, it opened my eyes to different cultures, and it constantly inspires me with an array of carefully curated visuals. As I continue this crazy solopreneur path, there’s one business building concept I keep happily stumbling upon: meeting and talking to people is your best marketing tactic. Doing business the old school way, before the digital era and social media existed, still works! I recently faced one of my biggest fears. My fear of business cards. No joke. And I don’t mean other people’s business cards. Those I’m completely okay with accepting and secretly judging their design. My fears came from believing that having cards made for my own business would jinx it and forever doom it to the cemetery of failed businesses. Let’s start with the origin story for this unreasonable phobia.
